The data show that from January to October, the national industrial enterprises above designated size realized a total profit of RMB 611,542,000,000 yuan, a year-on-year decline of 7.8%, a decline of 1.2 percentage points narrower than that of January to September.

It is worth noting that the paper and paper products industry realized operating income of 113.181 billion yuan, down 3.1% year-on-year; total profit of 28.44 billion yuan, down 13.6% year-on-year; printing and recording media reproduction industry realized operating income of 527.57 billion yuan, down 5.7% year-on-year; total profit of 27.09 billion yuan, down 1.9% year-on-year.
